Ross Millen:

Hey, welcome to 2024. Another exciting year ahead, and like all new years, we have our resolutions. What are your business or personal resolutions for 2024?

Well, I can think of a couple. People need to regularly review their Estate Plan. That's their Wills, their Powers of Attorney. If you haven't done it for a few years, maybe it's a good idea just to get that out, have a look, and if there's any amendments, let us know. We can make them pretty simply.

The other thing is maybe your business terms and conditions haven't been looked at for a few years. Hey, there's been a lot of changes recently, so people need to make sure that their terms and conditions of business are up-to-date and then they've got the best possible terms for their business.

What about your employment agreements? Do they cover everything you want? That's another one that could be on your 2024 resolutions. Or maybe you need to just have a whole scale look at the business, see where there are some things that might need to be changed, could be a few tweaks that could increase the profitability and the saleability of your business if you're thinking of a business sale in the future.

The start of a new year is not only a time for personal reflection and personal resolutions, but also some for your business. Think about the things that you want to achieve this year. Start planning. If you don't plan, then you're not going to be able to achieve the goals that you want for 2024.

Any of these legal issues, any business issues, don't hesitate to contact Millens. We've got a lot of experience, we're here to help. Please contact me. I'm Ross Millen, and the team at Millens, we're here to help you in 2024.
